1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using Resendbox (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes that organization.

If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service and its operator

Resendbox is an email client that provides an inbox for domains on your Resend account, including reading, sending, search, spam filtering, sorting and team features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. Your account details must be accurate, and your use must comply with the laws that apply to you.

4. Accounts and security

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity under your account. We strongly recommend turning on two-factor authentication. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact [email protected] right away.

5. Workspaces and administration

Owners and admins control a workspace's settings, connection, domains, members and billing, and can access its mailboxes. They can change or remove any member's access. On the Business plan, they may also require single sign-on.

6. Your Resend account

The Service needs your own Resend account, and connecting it gives Resendbox broad access to that account through Resend's authorization screen. You can disconnect in Settings or revoke access in Resend at any time, though mail will then stop arriving and sending.

Your agreement with Resend still applies. You're responsible for your Resend plan, usage and charges, and for your domains and DNS settings. We're not affiliated with Resend and aren't responsible for its service. Delivery of email is not guaranteed.

7. Spam filtering, sorting and AI

Spam filtering and sorting are automated and can make mistakes. Legitimate mail may land in Spam or a category you don't expect, and spam may reach your inbox. Conversations in Spam and Trash are permanently deleted after 30 days, so please check them regularly.

If you add your own AI provider, its terms apply, and you're responsible for its costs. AI drafts can be wrong, so review them before sending. The assistant can't send email by itself.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Send spam, unsolicited bulk mail, phishing or deceptive messages.
Break the law, or harass, defraud or harm others.
Infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
Spread malware, or probe, scan or breach our systems or security.
Access accounts or data you aren't authorized to access.
Scrape the Service, overload it or interfere with its operation.

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access.

9. Your content

You keep all ownership of the mail, attachments and other content in your workspace. You confirm that you have the rights and legal basis to process it, and you're responsible for it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

10. Limited license to us

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, scan, display and transmit your content, only as needed to provide, secure and back up the Service. This ends when your content is deleted, subject to backup cycles. We won't use your content for advertising or to train AI models.

11. Plans and billing

The Solo plan is free, within its limits. Team and Business are recurring monthly or yearly subscriptions at the prices shown at checkout, processed by Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Taxes may be added at checkout.

Each plan has limits on members, storage and domains. If you go over a limit, some actions may be blocked until you upgrade or make room. We'll give notice before changing prices for an existing subscription.

12. Cancellation, downgrades and refunds

You can cancel through the billing portal in Settings. Your plan normally stays active until the end of the paid period, and your workspace then moves to Solo. Domains over Solo's limit become inactive: their mail is kept, but hidden until you make room or upgrade.

Unless the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where practical, if you breach these Terms, payment fails, your use creates a security risk, or the law requires it. After termination, your data is deleted according to our retention practices, so please export anything you need first.

14. Intellectual property

The Resendbox name, logo, design, software and documentation belong to the operator and its licensors. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer them, except where the law allows it.

15. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, with no obligation to you.

16. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service reliable, but it may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, or problems with providers such as Resend. We may change or remove features, and we'll give reasonable notice of significant removals where practical. Keep your own copies of mail you can't afford to lose.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from data loss, or that any email will be delivered or correctly filtered.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither the operator nor our providers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data or missed email.

Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the event, or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.

19. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify the operator and its providers against third-party claims and related costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, your email, or your use of the Service.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Togo, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Lomé, Togo, except where mandatory law where you live gives you other rights.

21. Changes to these Terms

When we update these Terms, we change the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll also notify you by email or in the app. By continuing to use the Service after that, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using it.

22. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and the operator about the Service. If a provision can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right doesn't waive it. You can't transfer these Terms without our consent, but we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, merger or sale of assets.
